1. Nature of Services

Vivid Surface Studio offers custom wall, floor, and panel printing services, along with optional design support. For print-only jobs, customers provide their own artwork and we execute the printing based on their instructions. When you engage our Custom Design Service, we collaborate with you to create print-ready artwork. For print-only jobs where you supply finished artwork, we do not review submitted content for legal compliance.

2. Customer's Responsibility for Content

• You own the submitted material or hold the legal rights and licenses to use it.
• You bear full legal responsibility for any consequences of printing, displaying, or distributing the printed product.
• You release Vivid Surface Studio from any liability for copyright, trademark, or intellectual-property infringement related to content you provide.

3. Rights in Printed Work

Once printed, the resulting physical product is transferred to you to use as you see fit. However, we do not grant or transfer rights over artwork owned by third parties, do not assume responsibility for how the product is displayed or published, and you are responsible for complying with building regulations, public-display laws, and any permits.

4. Design Consultation & Revision Workflow

• A 15-minute consultation is available at no charge to help clarify project needs.
• Design consultations and revisions are provided to paying customers and are based on customer input.
• Once a design is approved for print, further changes may not be possible without additional cost.

5. Printing Surfaces & Delivery

We offer two primary service types: on-site printing (directly onto the customer's wall, floor, or other surface) and panel printing (printed on material such as aluminum, acrylic, or wood, then delivered). We do not guarantee compatibility with all surfaces. Any access, preparation, or environmental risks (for example, paint or flooring damage, foot-traffic wear, or environmental exposure) are the customer's responsibility.

6. Copyright, Trademark & Licensing Disclaimer

For customer-supplied artwork, we do not verify ownership. It is your responsibility to ensure submitted content does not infringe protected rights, contain prohibited material, or require licenses you have not obtained. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vivid Surface Studio and its affiliates from any claim arising from content you provide.

7. Payments, Refunds & Cancellations

• All prices are in USD; payment is due in full before production begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Due to the customized nature of our services, all sales are final.
• Cancellations are only accepted before production starts.
• Refunds are not available for completed jobs unless a proven technical error occurred on our part. We may offer a reprint for equipment or operator error.

8. Limitations of Liability

We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; loss of business, profit, or reputation; improper use of the final product; or surface incompatibility or print degradation due to external factors. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service.

9. Our Intellectual Property

All original content on our website, including our logo, brand, visuals, and guides, is the property of Vivid Surface Studio and may not be copied or republished without express written permission.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current version.

11. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to enhance your browsing experience and analyze site traffic. By continuing to use the site after acknowledging our cookie notice, you consent to the use of cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function as intended.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California.
